My Journey

Although my career has been a varied one through Human Services, it provided a diverse range of experiences, both fulfilling and challenging. I learned a lot about people, advocacy, systems and myself

I worked with various demographics, sectors and ages and have seen much over the years

I am known for being able to manage the most challenging of dynamics

I am confident in my capacity to help people, but am always learning and keep my education/training current

My experiences taught me to be grateful and have deepened my understanding of and compassion for others

I have a natural ability to work with people facing challenges, grief and bereavement

A steady stream of change and loss in my own life enabled me to explore my personal grief

Another significant influence in my life was my emigration to Canada at age 13

which introduced me to a whole new land and culture, full of opportunities and challenges

I live with my family in the Ottawa area

Being a creative person has given me the capacity to envision and build a more personally fulfilling life

Sacred Circle Dance is an example, as it brings me great joy and allows me to use my musical gifts

I was introduced to this type of dance by a friend and attended as a participant before training to facilitate

My spiritual self has been developing over a number of years

Through my work, education and personal experiences I discovered

I have a natural affinity to work in the spiritual realm

I always used my hands to heal, but not until I was introduced to Therapeutic Touch® did I understand my gift

I use Tarot cards and crystals in my personal practice
